This bundle logs to New Relic in Symfony apps.

Requirements

Make sure Composer is installed globally, as explained in the installation chapter of the Composer documentation.

Open a command console, enter your project directory and execute:

$ composer require ias/newrelic-logger-bundle

Open a command console, enter your project directory and execute the following command to download the latest stable version of this bundle:

$ composer require ias/newrelic-logger-bundle

Then, enable the bundle by adding it to the list of registered bundles in the config/bundles.php file of your project:

// config/bundles.php

return [
    // ...
    IAS\NewRelicLoggerBundle\IASNewRelicLoggerBundle::class => ['all' => true],
];

Create a configuration file to change service defaults:

# ias_new_relic_logger.yaml
ias_new_relic_logger:
    buffer_limit: 0
    level: !php/const Monolog\Logger::INFO

Options:

Activate the log handler:

monolog:
    handlers:
        newrelic:
            type: service
            id: ias_new_relic_logger.handler
